Pomeroy Caravan & Camping Park
We are a small, family-run camping and caravan site ideally located just off the A515 and the High Peak Trail. Our caravan park is a wonderful place for couples and family campers to stay. We like to think we offer the perfect base for a weekend break or a longer holiday to explore the Peak District area. Local day trips to historic towns and places of interest are easy to arrange and include well-known Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Chatsworth and many other charismatic villages.
Opening Dates
Our Caravan Park is open annually from the end of March to the beginning of November. All touring caravans, motor homes, trailer and family tents are welcome to Pomeroy Caravan Park. We have well maintained EHU Grassland pitches for touring caravans and tents. We have an open plan area for tents without EHU.
Touring Booking Arrangements
Bookings can be made on line and advance booking is essential particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August. At time of booking full contact details and a deposit payment will be required. We have minimum stays of 3 nights at Bank Holiday weekends.
Please note we do not allow American style RV Motorhomes to be booked online. If you wish to make a booking, please contact the office directly on 01298 83259.
Booking rules
We now require a 15% deposit, in general, with a minimum deposit payment of £25. For most bookings, this deposit amount (of £25) will be the same as before, but for longer stays, you should expect to see a higher deposit amount due. All remaining balances should be paid 7 days before arrival.
We will send out a reminder email, which contains a link to our online payment system to allow payment before this date. If you cannot pay online, we can take payments over the phone, but only by prior arrangement. Any cancelations prior to 7 days before the arrival date will result in a loss of the deposit total. After full balance payment, any cancelations within 1 week of arrival date will result in the loss of the total booking amount.
All deposits are non refundable and non transferable under any circumstances. Full payments made within a week of arrival are non refundable and non transferable. If no payment is made or arranged, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
